Did You Know...

Over the last few months, I've been blessed with some new opportunities in the sewing and blogging community, and I have added a few new features to the blog here.

For instance,

Did you know...

1. that I now have a Pattern Shop?

By now, you've probably seen a post or two about my new venture into pattern design. It's been a long-time goal of mine to computer draft and develop a children's clothing pdf pattern to sell. I'm excited to announce that the sewVery Pattern Shop is now open for business with plans to add more patterns in the near future!

2. that I now have a Newsletter?

Since I figured out all the technical stuff to draft a pattern and add a Pattern Shop to the blog, I figured I might as well start writing a newsletter! If you would like to keep up-to-date on all the sewVery pattern reviews, free tutorials, pattern tester calls, new pattern releases, and shop sales, then sign up today!

3. that I have a lot of FREE tutorials?

I am constantly brainstorming ideas to develop into tutorials that I can share with you all for FREE! When I can remember, ;), I add a link to those completed projects under my TUTORIAL tab found at the bottom of my blog header.

4. that I am a Craftsy Writer?

In addition to my personal blog here at sewVery, I now occasionally write and contribute content to the "Sewing" category of the Craftsy Blog! Any time you are interested in reading my posts on Craftsy, simply click this button in my sidebar, and you'll be redirected to all the articles I've contributed to the Craftsy Blog.

5. that I've had a project published in a magazine?

I'm still waiting to see it in print myself, but Fresh Quilts magazine published two of my sewVery Simple Tutorials in their newly released holiday edition! Look for this issue at the bookstore or at Wal-mart (my friend, Lindsay from Lindsay Sews, has a project published in it as well)!

6. that I'm an affiliate for Craftsy and several other pattern shops!

In the sidebar of my blog, you may have noticed a link of businesses for which I am an affiliate. What does that mean exactly? Well, if you click on one of my affiliate links and then make a purchase from that shop, I receive a referral commission that does not add to your purchase price. The commissions I make off of these sales help me fund unsponsored projects that I share with you all for free! Each of the graphics below are linked to my affiliate links for those shops, and I appreciate your support when you make purchases using my links.

Craftsy is currently having a Dog Days of Summer Sale! Save up to 50% all online classes, but hurry! Sale ends August 11th, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Stay tuned for more exciting things to come to sewVery in the near future!  Until then...

Have fun sewing!
