It's Day 5 of the sewVery Sunny Pattern Tour

Today's lineup of guests will certainly inspire you to make some awesome, unique sewVery Sunny Dresses and Tops. Let's get right to my Day 5 Pattern Tour visitors!

I've had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out some with my first guest, Marissa, at the last two Sewing Summit conferences that we both attended. Marissa is the book-loving, Harry Potter fanatic who loves to sew and has a successful etsy shop making adorable themed bloomers, onesies, and halloween costumes among other cool items. She recently had a baby boy, but she still sews up tons of girl clothing items for her two beautiful nieces. Be sure to visit Marissa at her blog, Rae Gun Ramblings, to see how she involved her nieces in the fabric making decision for their new Sunny Dresses!

My next guest is someone I also know in real life! Carrie and I live just a short distance from one another and earlier this year met in person for a local blogger/sewing gathering that I organized. Carrie kindly volunteered to test out the sewVery Sunny Pattern by making both a dress and a top for each of her beautiful girls. I'm blown away by both versions she created, and can't wait to make my daughter her own color-blocked version! Visit Carrie's new blog and read all about her Sunny pattern sewing at Right Sides Facing.

My final guest today was a great help during pattern testing. Melissa liked the Sunny pattern so well that she made a dress for one daughter and a top for the other! I've been catching up on my blog reading lately, and Melissa has quite a resume of pattern tests and reviews that she shares. I really enjoy her writing style and her sewing skills are top notch as well. Read all about the sweet little version of the Sunny Top she made at Rebel and Malice.
