I always get a better finish to the ends of my zipper on the pouch. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help!sewVeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03155668011032805302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685980109473862323.post-17114615688319756082014-03-11T17:48:24.172-05:002014-03-11T17:48:24.172-05:00Thank you for your reply. I hope you see my response! There are two things you could do. One, before you sew the zipper to the fabric and with the zipper closed, either hand stitch or machine stitch the zipper tape together about a half inch beyond the zipper pull. This will keep the ends of the zipper together even when the zipper is unzipped. Another way to attach the zipper, and I find this useful when I have a zipper that is an inch or two shorter than the pattern calls for, is to sew tabs across each end of the zipper before you sew it to the fabric. I love this tutorial that should show you what to do exactly. http://www.craftbuds.com/easy-lined-zipper-pouch/ Hope you figure it out! sewVeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03155668011032805302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685980109473862323.post-79231624246454750462014-03-11T16:06:03.895-05:002014-03-11T16:06:03.895-05:00I know this is one year later....but I've had ...I know this is one year later....but I've had this pattern and just decided to make the zippered pouch. I also decided to line it. I am a very beginner sewer. I cannot figure out how to sew the zipper to the pouch near the zipper pull (when opened). The entire pouch looks good, but undone on the one side. I plan on hand sewing the rest of zipper to pouch. Googling, I found your site. Any tips? cbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15805905099272478320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685980109473862323.post-39940380656730329752013-02-25T08:24:39.542-06:002013-02-25T08:24:39.542-06:00Lovely fabric I need to buy that patternLovely fabric I need to buy that patternUKMUMINUSAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02442274150062319943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685980109473862323.post-47384740692243942022013-02-24T00:28:19.173-06:002013-02-24T00:28:19.173-06:00Beautiful - I'm going to make them!Beautiful - I'm going to make them!Dana Weaver Moorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11189312831837904972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3685980109473862323.post-25058496516015871152013-02-23T23:16:32.683-06:002013-02-23T23:16:32.683-06:00Love those!
